When I came out of the door very early this morning it almost looked as if there was a sprinkle of snow coming down. It was just light rain sparkling under the light and as dawn broke we have another warm and sunny day +11 and very different to 2011 and 2012 where we were under a deep blanket of snow.
The horses are all having a holiday from jumping but they have not locked onto the fact they should be winding down and are very full of life. We have left the yearlings out in their 5 acre field as it is still so mild. Their winter barn is ready and full of straw when the weather turns and we bring them in, maybe they will be less mischievous in there?! The blog also discusses the the complaints are about lack of horses and owners, and what part to play bodies such as BSJA and BEF. Where is it going wrong?
