I am not sure if it was the shock of the snow and freezing conditions during the winter of 2009 but we seem to be coping better so far this winter, although the shock is no less. Perhaps it is because we have not been as badly hit as the South East with the snow and have managed to keep our yard clear to keep the horses walked out.
Despite being stable bound the horses behave very well although Wembley finds it deeply demoralising and has to be dragged up and down for her 20 minutes exercise. The look on her face says it all!
