I am sorry to have been slow in posting the story of Wembley in the Championship at the Young Horse Championship. She finished 15th in the Championship and although she had 4 faults in the first round she jumped a beautiful, fluent and effortless round over a 1.45 course that was probably as big a course as she has ever jumped.
The Sunday at Lanaken is devoted to the 5, 6 and 7 year old Championship and this year concluded with the Belgium Championships.
From 8 am cars pour into the showground and by the time the 6 year old class started it was packed. It is hard to describe the atmosphere because it is one of interest, socialising, anticipation and dedication.
