I have had writers cramp since my last posting. I guess the art of a good diary writer is that you have to continue even if the news is bad and morale is low. So I have not followed this rule and have not written since January.
Not to dwell on the reasons but it is worth remembering some of the particular memories and why they are important.
January concluded with the loss of Peter Cundill, a great man, client and friend with whom I shared a great deal and with whom I learned a lot. Not least the ability to purchase our lovely grey mare, Wembley who we also owe so much.
