Our neat manure proved to be excellent for growing courgettes providing an abundant (if not overwhelming) crop this summer, as well a prize winning marrow at the highly competitive village show. Just beyond, Cambridge, Carlos and Chad, the yearlings, are looking well on the flush of autumn grass. They seem to love human company and as soon as I appear they rush over to say hello. They are growing up fast…!
